Grok Geek Blues
For the last three days
I have only peeked
my head outside and then
only to see
if it was night or if it was day
My computer and website
both
have been giving me troubles
Nothing new
My computer breaks
every other day
and I put it back together again
I have eight hard drives
s e r i o u s l y
eight hard driveswhen one goes bad
I just slap a backup one in there
sometimes they’ll all go at once
that’s when I poke
my head outside to see
if it is night or day
if it is night I piss
in the bushes
and then come back inside
and go try go to sleep
only to dream of fixing computers
or dream about fixing my website
or do just about
anything but
write
writing is hard
and it shouldn’t be attempted
while dreaming
of course I’m only kidding
