Jimmy isn't famous

Hey, Jimmy!

Jimmy pulls his hat a bit tighter around his ears, and keeps walking.

I know what that guy wants. He wants to make fun of me. All I ever tried to do was be nice to him, and he thinks I’m stupid. Too bad. I won’t talk to him any more.

Hey, Jimmy!

Jimmy keeps his eyes low, and keeps walking.

I know her. She wants to kiss me. Every time I get near her she tries to touch me down there, and asks me if I have any money. I know her. Forget her! No way!

Jimmy sees some red leaves on a tree growing through a hole in the sidewalk. A dog is sniffing the iron grate around the tree.

Hello little doggy. What’s your name?

Jimmy bends down to pet the dog, and the dog licks Jimmy’s face.

Jimmy looks at the sky, and he sees a few white clouds that look like someone pasted cotton balls onto a powder blue piece of paper. A smooth breeze washes his face with fresh sea air.
